**NEW**SURVEY ON THE OPEN WORKING GROUP AND ITS CIVIL SOCIETY ENGAGEMENT
The SD2015 survey on your engagement and participation in the Open Working Group on the sustainable development goals has two main objectives:
1) Evaluate your experience of the OWG;
2) Identify lessons learned and best practices from your OWG experience to inform enhanced modalities for civil society participation in the High Level Political Forum (HLPF).

We would very much welcome your inputs and feedback. The survey should take 10 minutes to complete.

END OF OPEN WORKING GROUP ON SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

On 19 July, the 13th session of the Open Working Group on the sustainable development goals ended with an outcome document containing 17 goals with more than 100 targets. The outcome document will be presented at the UN General Assembly in September 2014, and will be a basis for intergovernmental negotiations on the next global development framework.

SOME CIVIL SOCIETY REACTIONS TO THE OWG OUTCOME DOCUMENT
In reaction to the final outcome of the Open Working Group (OWG) on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in which it proposed SDGs at the conclusion of the 13th session (OWG 13), a number of Major Groups and civil society organiSations have released papers and press releases commenting on the proposal. The majority of reactions suggest the outcome is a significant step forward, while also highlighting specific concerns.

65TH UN DPI/NGO CONFERENCE - “2015 AND BEYOND: OUR ACTION AGENDA”
The post-2015 development agenda will be the theme of the UN NGO conference, a major global civil society gathering in New York from 27 to 29 August 2014. The 65th annual conference of the UN Department of Public Information (DPI) and the NGO community will provide an opportunity for civil society, international networks and activists to develop an “Action agenda” to mobilise in the lead up to the negotiations on the post-2015 development agenda.

INTERACTIVE MEETING WITH CIVIL SOCIETY ON POST-2015 STOCKTAKING EVENT
H.E. John W. Ashe, the President of the 68th Session of the UNGA will hold an interactive meeting with civil society on Tuesday 26 August 2014 at UN Headquarters, NY. The meeting will provide representatives of civil society, including NGOs, the media, the private sector and other relevant stakeholders with the opportunity to reflect on the various post-2015 development related processes. The meeting will be broadcast via live webcast.

MEET THE ACTION/2015 REFERENCE GROUP
The global campaign action/2015 is kicking in and work is about to start. A global hub coordinator has just been appointed and the reference group elected. The reference group will perform a predominantly advisory role to the campaign's Global Hub and Action Teams to ensure strategies stay on track.
