Rendir APP: A self-assessment application to improve CSOs’ accountability

Rendir App is an easy and quick tool for organizations to self-assess themselves in relation to the 12 commitments of the Global Accountability Standard.

The app helps CSOs identify their current strengths and it provides recommendations that the organizations can implement to improve the areas identified as weakest.

It is co- created by ICD (Uruguay) and Transparencia por Colombia – ONGxT Network.

Begin the self-assessment here.

In today’s fast changing environments, it is beneficial for organizations to conduct an exercise to self-evaluate their accountability practices on a regular basis. When conducted regularly, organizations can monitor as well as evaluate the progress made which helps to adapt in real-time. In light of a Dynamic Accountability approach, CSOs can only become more transparent and effective when they are ready to turn themselves inside out, including regular spaces for self-reflection and bringing more voices in. The Rendir App can support this process.
