The EENA in Lebanon was undertaken between January and June 2014 by the Arab NGO Network for Development (ANND).
It found that while civil society in the Arab region remains largely oppressed and supervised by authorities, Lebanon is set apart with a more liberal regime, allowing civil society to influence policy makers. A key to improving its impact however will be the adoption of a Declaration of Principles for Lebanese CSOs.
