Background

Media plays an important role in society, shaping and influencing how people think about, understand and perceive issues. For civil society, media can play an important part in helping us to shape opinions, provide information and advocate for change. But to harness this influence, we need to know how the media works, how to connect with journalists and how to “speak their language”.
