The Indian Dreams Foundation (IDF)

indian dreams The Indian Dreams Foundation (IDF) is a non-profit organisation founded in the year 2005 with a mission to develop, build and strengthen individual, family, institutional and community initiatives for overall development through meaningful partnership. IDF works primarily in the field of education and empowerment and its operations stem from the vision of creating a healthy and educated society.
IDF’s major Programs:-

  1. Non Formal Education Program: The non formal education centre targets children who are first time learners, school drop outs, out of school children and girls from deprived communities. Apart from knowledge, children gain confidence and life skills that are immediately relevant to their overall development.
  2. Education Sponsoring and Mentoring Program (Honhar Ladki): The target beneficiaries are adolescent girls belonging to disadvantaged communities, who had to drop out of schools because of economic problems. Through this program, IDF provides financial and motivational support to the girls.
  3. School Reforms Program: The vision is to provide quality education to children from rural and urban government schools by ‘adopting’ these schools and developing them to par with the best schools in terms of infrastructure, academic performance and healthy environment as per the MDGs goals.
