Our priorities
AGNA’s new five-year strategic plan (2023 – 2027) aims to meet the emerging challenges that the network faces, and to continue playing an important role for the CIVICUS alliance in realising its mission and objectives. The plan also aims to provide a focused approach to develop and strengthen AGNA, and build a more effective and sustainable network.

Inga works for NGO Information and Support Centre as a Public Policy Analyst and International Relations Coordinator and has been appointed to represent the National NGO Coalition at AGNA. She has 10 years of working experience as a Managing Director of a foundation, 6 years as the Head of Internal Audit Division for governmental and private sectors and 3 years as a Human Resources Director. Currently, she serves as an advisor at the Ministry of the Environment. Public policy, advancement and fundraising, cooperation, CSO impact and accountability are the current fields of her work and research.

Akmal is the Networking and Capacity Innovation Officer at PIANGO. Since 2015, he works on networking and maintaining partnerships with stakeholders locally, nationally, regionally, and globally. He also works on strengthening the capacities of PIANGO’s members on the Sustainable Development Goals and VNR processes.

Arjun Bhattarai serves as the Secretary General of the NGO Federation of Nepal, an umbrella organization representing over 6.700 NGOs across the country. With over two decades of experience in the development sector, he is a prominent leader in Nepal's civil society, renowned for his global advocacy for human rights, democracy, civic space, and climate justice.

She is a Colombian economist with an MBA and a Master's in Finance; manager of organizations and social projects in the public and private sectors. With extensive experience in the design, implementation, and evaluation of international cooperation programs and projects, as well as working with communities, human rights defenders, and civil society in general. Throughout her professional life, she has been involved with organizations such as: the International Committee of the Red Cross, the United Nations, and USAID. She is the executive director for Red Latinoamericana y del Caribe para la Democracia in Colombia.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Educational Sciences with a specialization in Administration and School Inspection since 1976. He has held several positions: Teacher at a high school teaching psychopedagogy courses, then Principal of Pungu High School or Institute in the city of Kikwit in the DRC for ten years. He later underwent training in administration and inspection of savings and credit cooperatives at Desjardins (DID) in Lévis, Quebec. After this training, he served as Managing Director of the Central Savings and Credit Cooperative in the Bandundu province (DRC) for nine years. Subsequently, he was elected Secretary General of Development NGOs in the DRC for eight years and, finally, since 2012, he has been the Regional Coordinator of the National NGO Platforms of Central Africa.

Raúl Maza Hernández is the founder and current Executive Director of Red de Cooperación Internacional Mexicana (REDECIM). He plays a pivotal role in enhancing the capabilities of over 90 civil society organizations, focusing on sustainability, and facilitating access to resources from international cooperation. Raúl is a member of the global Reimagine Peacebuilding community since 2022. He has over 10 years of experience with the public, private, academia and the social sectors.

Parkoo is a founding member of CNSC Togo and National President of OBGEA Togo, Parkoo has been actively involved in electoral observation and training for two decades. Parkoo’s provides training and capacity-building for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs).

Zia founded AwazCDS-Pakistan in 1995. As a development advocate and lobbyist, he led the Pakistan Development Alliance and promoted better governance and accountability towards the achievement of the SDGs. He is Asia Development Alliance- ADA first Director and Secretary General. ADA is a regional network that empowers civil society as a catalyst for social change. It is formed by 33 national CSO platforms representing over 10000 organisations from South, Southeast, Northeast, Southwest and Central Asia.

Luisa is a human rights defender advocating for the right to health for people with high-cost chronic health conditions since 2002. She is a specialist in social development projects, finances, negotiation, agreement and arbitration. As the President of SINERGIA and FUNCAMAMA, she has worked to defend, strengthen and build the civic space along with national, international and regional decision-makers.

Sandino is the Executive Director of CODE-NGO. He collaborates with civil society organizations and networks, focusing on training and advocacy promoting transparency, accountability, and participation in governance.
