"Being born into a disadvantaged and less served community should never stop a young person from reaching their full potential. Unfortunately, there is a huge gap between the opportunities and resources available to the youth living in the big cities and those living in villages and rural areas in any country, but we are setting the next generation up for failure if we do not solve this issue and bridge the gap that currently exists. We live in a time where technology can be the solution to this, where we can use technology to give youth equal access to the opportunities and resources they need to achieve themselves and reach their full potential despite where they come from."
Dandi, the flagship product of Humanitas Technologies, is a gamified youth-centric video app that provides youth with a platform to share their stories, ideas, initiatives, and daily routines that lead towards social good through short videos to cultivate collaborative behavior change.
As the young person engages more with the app, they get access to unique online and offline opportunities that they might not have access to otherwise. Our goal is to build a space for such positive content to exist and reward people for the good that they do, no matter how small it is and no matter where they come from.
Over time, we aim to nurture the public confidence in community-oriented behaviors and rebuild institutions’ and societies’ trust in young people and their ability to be the change we want to see in our communities through their involvement in projects and initiative that reflect positively on their communities and cities.
