Explore Opportunities
Around the world, civil society's resilience is threatened by shrinking civic spaces and growing power imbalances, limiting its ability to act and access resources.
CIVICUS counters these trends by leveraging its networks and visibility to secure better resources for citizen action. We support activists and organisations with solidarity, improved support mechanisms, and stronger relationships with the resourcing ecosystem.
Local Leadership Labs (LLL)
LLL tackles political, technical, behavioural barriers so that governments, donors, and other stakeholders can adopt and deliver on commitments to recognize, enable, and resource diverse local civil society groups as key development actors. We support radically inclusive spaces where local civil society groups can drive the development of context-appropriate policies and solutions.
Digital Democracy Initiative (DDI)
DDI supports civil society to be better prepared to use digital technology for civic engagement and to expand inclusive democracy and civic space. The project focuses on marginalised actors in Global South countries where civic space is obstructed or repressed.
